Data of Learners

The following data is collected from learners on the LMS:

  • Personal Information: Name, E-Mail address, job title, department, location
  • Course Progress: Assigned, completed, and in-progress courses
  • Assessment Scores: Results of quizzes and other assessments
  • Feedback: Comments and ratings provided on courses

This data is used for the following purposes:

  • Providing and managing access to courses
  • Tracking learner progress and performance
  • Improving the LMS and its content
  • Communicating with learners about courses and other LMS-related matters

Data Retention

We will retain your data for as long as it is necessary, but for no longer than 10 years from the date it is collected, to:

  • Provide you with access to the LMS and manage your courses. This includes ensuring you can enroll in courses, access course materials, and track your progress.
  • Track your progress and performance to improve your learning experience. We use your data to analyze learning trends, identify areas for improvement, and personalize your learning experience.
  • Deliver relevant communications and updates related to the LMS. This includes notifications about new courses, course updates, and important announcements.

Data Retention for Komax Group Employees

For employees of the Komax Group, we will retain your personal data until the end of your employment relationship. After you leave the company, your data will be deleted or anonymized in accordance with applicable data protection regulations and the company's retention policies, but for no longer than 10 years.

Data Processing Location

All data processing activities are carried out exclusively within the EU or the European Economic Area (EEA).

Your Control Over Your Data

  • Data Security: We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
  • Your Rights: You have the right to access, rectify, and erase* your data. You also have the right to object to the processing of your data and to data portability.

*Important: Deleting your data is permanent and cannot be undone. Once your data is deleted, you will no longer have access to the LMS or your course history.

Third-Party Integrations

The LMS may integrate with other tools like video conferencing platforms. When you use these integrations, your data will be handled according to the privacy policies of those specific third-party providers. We recommend reviewing their policies before using any integrations.
